It has been almost two weeks since I came back to London. I am still reminiscing about Malaysia. It was such a great trip. One occasion that had made the trip so sweet is that I get to experience our Independence Day celebration after a long hiatus. To be honest I can’t remember when was the last time I was back home during Independence Day. The whole vibe on that afternoon was amazing. People from young to old gathered with full of energy, blowing their vuvuzelas. The whole street was lit up by the community’s spirit and zest. Despite the blazing hot weather, I can’t help but feel proud of the country. It has come very far and still striving for the best. Every place has its fair share of positives and negatives, I believe Independence Day is a day that reminds us to focus on the positives and charge forward for a greater existence. It applies not only to a country but to each and every one of us.
Till next time lovelies,
Outfit: Zara jeans, Zara slip on, Zara long sleeve ruffle top.
Hi my lovelies! Hope all of you are doing well. Apologies for being away for quite a while. I was off to an extended holiday back home in Malaysia and sort of had a laptop break. Now I am back again in London and slowly getting into my usual routine.
Home. It is not that straightforward for me to define. London is my home because I’m based here with my loved one. Home is also Malaysia where my family resides. Both are near and dear to me. However, when I talk about the Malaysian home one thing comes straight to my mind other than family – FOOD. Food here is heavenly. Period. I credit the rich taste of Malaysian food to the diverse cultural influences we are very much proud of.
For me Home is where I look forward to so much for the love, carefree way of living and knowing there is happiness for the soul. In this blog post, I would like to reminisce the gastronomic delights of my home that time and time again never fails to uplifts my spirits.
Do visit Malaysia, the place has a charm that will get you.
Till next time,
